Botox is a medicine prepared from a poison formed by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It's the same poison that causes a serious type of food poisoning called botulism.

The effect of Botox injection last for about four to six months.

Effects of Botox Injection

  1. Cosmetic: The makeup effect of BTX-A on wrinkles was originally documented by a plastic surgeon from California, Dr. Richard Clark, and printed in the periodical Synthetic and reconstructive surgery in 1989. Canadian couple ophthalmologist and skin physicians Caruthers JD and Caruthers JA were the first to print a study on Botox for the treatment of mesophyron frown lines in 1992. Alike consequences had supposedly been seen by a numeral of self-sufficient groups for example the Columbia University group. After official tests, on April 12, 2002, the Food And Drug Association announced regulatory approval of botulinum toxin type A (Botox Cosmetic) to for the time being recover the look of moderate-to-severe glabellar lines between the eyebrows (frown lines). Consequently, makeup use of botulinum toxin type A has become common with many celebrities screening it as less disturbing and/or synthetic than other types of synthetic surgery. The results of makeup process changes but can last up to eight months. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration accepted a substitute product-safety testing technique in answer to rising public anxiety.

  2. Muscular Contraction or Convulsive Movement: The acceptance of Botox use for the cure of muscle ache disorders is rising, with approvals waiting in many European countries. The efficiency of Botox in curing a range of other health conditions together with asthma and others is a region of constant analysis.

  3. Upper Motor Neuron Syndrome: Botox is now a widespread cure for muscles affected by the upper motor neuron syndrome such as cerebral palsy, for muscles with an impaired capability to efficiently stretch. Muscles affected by the Upper Motor Neuron Syndrome frequently are imperfect by weakness, decreased speed, decreased accuracy, decreased endurance and decrease or increase in level of muscle activity. Joint motion may be limited by severe muscle disproportion related to the Upper Motor Neuron Syndrome, when some muscles are marked as increase in level of muscle activity, and not have successful active expansion. Injecting an overactive muscle to decrease its level of tightening can allow enhanced reciprocal movement, and so enhance capacity to travel and work out. In June 2009, Botox use for curing hypertonic muscles helped an Australian gentleman to march again. He had to use a wheelchair for moving subsequently followed by a heart attack 20 years prior.

  4. Sweating: While curing patients with hemi facial contraction at Hospital in England in 1993, Khalaf Bushara and David Park was the initial person to show that Botox toxin injections slow down sweating. This was the first display of non-muscular use of Botox. Bushara further showed the efficiency of Botox toxin in treating excessive sweating. Botox was later accepted for the cure of excessive underarm sweating.

  5. Painful Contraction of Neck Muscles: Botulinum Toxin Type B (BTX-B) received Food and Drug Administration support for curing of painful contraction of neck muscles. Botox was given a commercial name of Mybloc in United States on December 21, 2000. During the same time Botox was given a brand name of Neurobloc in the European States.

  6. Constant Migraine: OnabotulinumtoxinA (commercial name Botox) received FDA support for curing of constant migraines on October 15, 2010. The poison is injected into the head and neck to cure this constant migraine. Authorization followed proof offered to the organization from two studies told by Allergan, Inc. showing a very small progress in occurrence of constant headache for headache victims undergoing the Botox cure. Ever since, quite a few randomized manage trials have revealed Botulinum Toxin Type A to improve migraine signs and value of life when used prophylactic ally for patients with constant headache. Who show signs of migraine with: force perceived from exterior source, shorter total time of constant headache (less than 30 years), "detoxification" of patients with simultaneous constant regular headache due to medicine overuse, no present record of other defensive headache medications.

As every coin has two side attached to it similarly Botox also have some negative effects. It entirely depends upon us for what purpose do we choose Botox injections. Patients in view of undergoing such a process should discuss with a board-certified synthetic surgeon to talk about their options.

Stop aging, lighten bad skin, and fill in Wrinkles with the use of Botox. It works!!!
